Heh. I've seen this guy. I love his total ignorance of American history. Paine would have retched at the sentiments expressed, since he was, in most ways, a radical leftist. Some of my favorite Tom Paine quotes:

He also was against government, but that must be seen in the light of the fact that most governments of the day were tyrannies of one sort of another, and he was engaged in fighting the tyranny of England.

As far as rebellion goes, the American people rebelled last November, and pitched the old guys out. It's how we do it these days. There's another chance in 2010. Go for it.

Honorable goals no matter who you are. Any Army (ours does) subscribes to these high battlefield standards. They can, unfortunately, only be realized after most of the bad guys have been hunted down and killed (George's words and I love 'em to this day) or the campaign is outright won. We've done it Iraq and even the rug head can't take credit for that.

The old guys may have needed to go but the new governors better be up with some huge improvements real quick or this taxation, regulation, fee & licensing structure from local, state, and federal government is going to be challenged.

Redone is right. Those who are pissed about the way things are going are welcome to vote how they like in 2010. Or take up arms and do it the hard way - in which case kindly steer clear of my neighborhood, or deal with the consequences. But if you wanted to take out Daley here in Chicago, you'd find a lot of people who wouldn't mind.

I'm sticking to non-political topics from here on out, I'm sure that'll work out better for everyone anyways.
