My new ride

You guys DO realize this is superbling you're talking about...
My vote would be for a Buell Firebolt with a swingarm from a Ducati 1098, engine from an ST1300, and of course the forks and front wheel from an RC51.
Right?

Here she is (aka the Black Beast), 2005, and yes with Sato low mounts (VTRrumble, you must have some really good sources!?):

Thats a perfect parts bike!!!!
You'll need the SP1 triples to put those forks on your Hawk, and I think the swingarm can be shortened a bit to bolt right up as well. No exhaust mod needed with that swinger. I've also seen you can make those fairings and tail fit as well...
Hahahaha... looks great...

The good news is I don't think I'll ever need to touch the motor (pipes, pc3, free mods all ready) nor the suspension until it needs refreshing. Instead I'll be trying to "tame" this beast into a more capable STREET bike. Yeah I know, some RC faithful will be calling for my head when they hear that!

I thought you were too tall for an RC. That must be what the "knees" thing is all about. It will be interesting to see how this project unfolds. Good luck and I have every confidence after your RCBVFR build.

It's amazing what you can learn with a right click... I had the pic, but didn't want to spoil the surprise. Beautiful bike, how long before the guess the project pics?

Some quick answers:
I have buell pegs on my RCBVFR so that was my first thought but the bike came with aftermarket rearsets (DOH!).
Slower color? Black absorbs all spectrums of light and thus is fastest. Even superbling couldn't be touched!
Tall? No, I'm joe average: 5'10" but these rearsets, even set back to stock, are still brutal on my old knees. Today I added a gixxer 1000 sargent seat I conveniently had laying around and with some quick modding made it work. A inch + seat height really helps.
Here's some more eye candy (and my current desktop) before the seat mod after a wash, polish, and wax:
