MUSIC!!!

I admit, my life revolves around music. I can listen to damn near anything from Celtic bagpipe music to Pantera, and take something from it. Figured i'd start a thread dedicated to the music and bands we love.

Im am completely in love with this girl... Jordis Unga. She should have won Rockstar INXS, but i think she was too far talented for thier band.

Hey, im allowed to have an opinion damnit!

This is the best version of The Who's Baba O'riley i have ever heard.

This is a tough one, and on another day I might chose a different one. But I find it hard to beat Steely Dan's second album, "Countdown To Ecstasy".

The guitar combination of Denny Diaz and Jeff "Skunk" Baxter is just awesome on "Bodhisattva".

And I love the guitar licks on "My Old School". Horns are good too.

Some folks can do covers as good or better;

Here's Hendrix doing Dylan-

And Stevie Ray doing Hendrix-

you've got to be kidding me.....did you hear her sing Dream On? i about vomited. The only one with true talent on either Rockstar INXS or Supernova was Toby Rand, and he was voted out.

My 2 cents I think there is amazing talent (and also ****) to be found in all forms of music. And if you guys are looking for real talent chances are it's usually not going to be found on tv or the radio...

Okay, since we are listing all kinds of music here...I will show a little support and introduce yall to a local band from Cibolo, Tx that is about 10 miles from me. They are a little vulgar, so keep the kiddos hears away from the speakers. Could not find any decent videos so here is a link to hear a couple songs. Be sure to play "wasted" and "open minded redneck". They have a whole bunch of songs, if ya care look them up.

http://www.ilike.com/artist/Skunkweed

The band is made up of black, white and hispanics...

Music to me is summed up in two words... Micheal Bolton. For my money I don't know if it gets any better then when this no-talent-***-clown screws up the national anthem. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZrK_kOk8Lw

But in all seriousness... modern music is dead to me. It's not that there isn't good music out there these days, it's just hard to find... maybe it's a good thing. I find it's much easier to go back in time for quality tunes...

Son House - Death Letter Blues
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDCNbacVt5w

Neil Young - Heart Of Gold
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh44QPT1mPE

Led Zeppelin - Traveling Riverside Blues
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSht5j3Cnh0

Bob Dylan - Desolation Road
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1cAUAaUwJo

There's still a few newer artist's I like...

Sloan - If It Feels Good Do It
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9s0R1UbxUQ

Beck - Scarecrow
