Thankfully, I said I'd like to try on a few of the US players. Finepooch is all Canadian and would have to jump through a lot of hoops to get on the US team. From the picture, it looks like any jumping at all may be out of the question for pooch. Looks like he may take me in a good old dust up if he got his hands on me though. So I won't say he isn't kind of cute, for a man. This may be getting out of control, PC wise that is.

Just wondering, anyone watching the real game in about a 1/2 hour. I'd like to hear the other side of the borders take on this game. Up here, people are running around like this is the biggest game in sports history. I think that pro hockey has no place in the olympics but I'll still crack a few Molsons and watch the game.

yeah, this thread is creepy now.

i was heading home on the freeway from nova scotia to moncton new brusnwick. no cars on the highway. turned on the radio and the game was on... "now i know why there's nobody on the road." came in the house and turned the game on for the young lad, just in time for him to see the winning goal.

HELLUVA game. While I'm disapointed that the US lost, I'm proud that they were there and put on a good show. I'm happy for team Canada. Congrats.

I'm glad this thread changed direction. Great game, almost purely luck in O/T when it's 4 on 4. One bounce and you get a odd man rush and all those players can bury it. Canada won but the game would have been forgettable if the US didn't tie it up. Now it goes down in history.
