That's crazy in the snow. I see they have the snow studs but wow. I rode twice in the snow just around the block. Tipped it once onto a pile of snow so no scratches. I could hardly get traction.

Its insane riding a bike with studs! Had a chance to ride a buddy's RMZ 250 on ice with studded knobby tires....320 in the rear tire and 275 in the front. Its hooks up like mad! You expect it to spin like on dirt, but it plain hauls ***. Those studs in that R1 are sick though..dirt bike studs are just screw in.

sportbikes on ice is crazy AND cold!
a local guy in WI set a world record 100mph wheelie on ice.
Ryan Suchanek Wheelie Record on Ice | Custom Fighters
He also does a stunt-show on ice. pretty wild watching that.
Jason Britten and his 'SuperBikes" show came out one year and filmed the stunt-show on ice. It was like 40 below zero. Jason was all bundled up and you could harldy see his eyballs behind his fluffy parka hood (he is from Cali).
btw - he also is missing a leg.
