I wonder how many people were smiling as they watched the IRS building burn.

A man can only take so much before he snaps and guess that was his line. I have a feeling that if things keep heading the way it is this might just be a start to people snapping.
Here's to a man that proved his point just sorry it had to be done in that way.

For that reason I find the timing of this and the location (Alex Jones' town of Austin, TX) very suspicious. Time will tell about that, but this is not a good thing no matter how out of control our government is. And it is most assuredly already out of control and headed in the wrong direction fast.

This will be used to smear anyone who attends Tea Parties, complains about how much government we have or has a beef with the IRS.

I don't see any irony. It's his money, not the government's. Just because he had enough to buy a plane doesn't mean that he should have turned it over to the government in the form of taxes instead. He probably worked hard for it all his life. He deserves it, not the government.
I don't condone what he did in any way, but at the same time, my initial reaction to hearing it was the government gets what they ask for. They try to take too much from us already.

He's a terrorist, may he rot in hell.
He seems talented about blaming the government for all his problems, blaming the government for him exhausting all his time and resources fighting against an unmovable object. It bothers me because he had valid arguments, but terrorizing others for your cause is ALWAYS counterproductive to your cause.

I'm not implying anything about Obama, but our government does conduct false flag acts of terrorism to achieve political goals and always has, so it's not much of a stretch to say that it's a possibility. Obviously I don't have enough information or evidence to make any such claim about this event.

well, bringing this back to motorcycles, I DID tell my wife last night that I could drive my motorcycle into an IRS building to show my protest, but I'd probably need a big ramp to get up to the floors that the IRS is on.

I'm sure all the people working in that building really had it coming... He was mad so he nearly killed (and injured several) innocent people? How could ANYBODY support what he did? The person sorting the mail there was somehow directly responsible for his problems and deserved to get burned? WTF? People being put out of work because their office is now toast, potentially wrecking their lives too?
He was a freaking nut. Nothing justifies hurting innocent people I don't care what your problems. And if you have your own aircraft and large house, you have no sympathy from me about money troubles.
Good riddence to him.

But, no, it didn't bring a smile. I didn't feel any sense of jubilation over the Timothy McVeigh thing in OK City either.
