Imagine when the back tires of the car being towed hits a big pothole. seems like another idea that looks good on paper...but I wouldn't want to be the one riding the bike. Last time I checked you still need to stop what your pulling. Not a lot of weight/contact patch offered by the rear wheel of the bike for braking force.

Oh, wait a minute, maybe they have trailer brakes. That must be it.

There are a bunch of "keicars" in Japan that use 600-1200cc motors, and are really light. I'm sure a bike with some tq could handle those easily.

Well... If you search a bit you will find that it's a Swedish invention... And it's being used in the US as well... And yes, they have trailer brakes...
