Looks like Robert from Florida has been out hitting the bricks... he moved up to 2nd place overnight! Please remember you can vote daily! With spots 2-5 still this close, I really need your help! That said, I got a reminder email from the sweepstakes folks that said the following:
“Each Valid Entry may be voted on by the general public, including by each Participant; however, a person may submit only one (1) vote per day per person and/or per IP address during the Public Voting Phase.”
In layman's terms, it means you can vote once daily, and each person is limited to one vote daily, also restricted by computer. If you're voting, and you can get your wife/gf/so to vote as well, they have to use a different computer, and if you have multiple computers/email addresses, you can still only vote once. I think they sent it because someone's voting support (or maybe even a contestant) may have been violating that and votes weren't counting. At this point I've got to get it together and start handing out flyers in town at lunch and in the afternoons!
PLEASE vote, and please ask your friends and family to vote!

To all of you who have voted thus far, THANK YOU!! I'm almost ready to add "Kawasaki Advertising Rep" to my work experience over on Linkedin, and we're just a week in at this point! 23 more days... please keep voting!

You guys all rock! More shameless self-promotion this weekend, more flyers and hitting the bricks... but I know it's all of my 'forum families' who are really keeping me in the game! Gotta stay in the top 4 and then I can take them on at the track! In looking at the pictures more closely, I'm pretty sure the 'hottie' isn't as hot as her picture makes her appear, 'cause I sure know I'm not as good looking as my pic! It'd be interesting to show everyone un-'staged' shots of the finalists. I'd definitely bring my camera and laptop to do blog posts every night from Vegas... Please keep voting!

Daily bump for votes... It looks like I'm putting distance between myself and 4th and 5th, but it'd be nice to catch up with 2nd again. Thanks again for all the votes guys!

Looks like 6th caught 5th, which means they'll both be fighting to catch 4th. Top 4 make it, so as much distance as I can put between those spots and where I am in 3rd would be a good idea... which means I need your votes! Please vote again today!

Pulled back into second, thanks to all my forum friends. Two more weeks of public voting, so I'm hitting the bricks here locally pretty hard, but the intarwebz are so much faster and have a wider scope... Thanks for all the votes, please keep them coming! If any of you are so inclined, please share the link and ask for votes over on facebook... it's truly amazing how prolific social media has become! In any case, please keep voting!

Aaaaand... all of a sudden I don't feel like posting this. Get up, make coffee, remind facebook to vote, hit all the forums... and today I see the "Prayers for a fallen rider." thread. Part of why I even submitted the contest essay in the first place was to try and promote motorcycle safety... and training, gear, awareness... all moot when some drunk ******* plows into you at speed. Stay safe out there guys.

Check out page 1B (page 15 of 20 in the file) at the link below, it's the PDF version of the Fort paper:

I've been working the article with the PAO for about 2 weeks, so it being printed today is good, there's just over a week left in the voting, so hopefully this will spread the word even further, and maybe get us some spectators out for the military group for the 15 April trackday I've been working.
