Search and find the video of a Gold Wing rider at Deal's Gap. It'll make one wonder why we spend money on upgrades and track days. I doubt that there is a GSXR or FZR rider who could keep pace.

Only took us about an hour to get to top in a family trip last summer. Compared to the record a week later which I think was around 12 minutes. Insane.

Course de Côte, French alps... The driver is Alain Castellana in a Norma M20 car.... And I believe his offical time ended up at around 2 minutes 30 seconds somewhere... The nevest record on that course is almost down to 2 minutes...

And yes... I'd prefer chasing... Much less fun to be the hare, when he comes shooting out of the corner behind you at twice the speed...

gotta hand it to the europeans. I can't imagine the safety mongers here in the states allowing such an event. I guess we'll stick to doing this on tracks.
