But I don’t tont cops on purpose no more since I lost my license. Thats just plane stupid. But I have had to outrun cops since then cuz theres no way I’m getting pulled over without a license again.
You like to buzz cyclists at high speed for fun, run from the cops and thread traffic at high speed for fun and now have to elude as a necessity because you have no license. And that's just plane(sp?) stupid? I am starting to seeing a trend here. Stupid is as stupid does.

Now I normally wouldn't even open my mouth, but as a father, I think its surely needed.

This is flat out stupid. Its one thing to pass by a cop and, make a choice that you can get out of sight before he gets to you, but to have a few drinks, then purposely take your bike out is stupid enough, but then to take it to high speeds while your drunk, and purposely get into a chase???

What makes police chases dangerous, and why many departments don't pursue in many cases is the stupidity that comes from two things... The intoxicated drivers (many times), and the pure stupidity of what people do when they are paying more attention to the people behind them...

My wife and kids are out on the roads driving around... And people like you don't deserve the air you breath everyday.

I'm thinkin' Joe is on a trolling expedition. Wouldn't driving like that without a license get you a room in the big house? Or at least a confiscated bike? I'm not buyin' the stories.

JoshuaTest,
Thanks for stepping up to the plate. I was going to reply in defense of my wife and kids as well, but I stepped away, and my cable dropped yet again...

Joe Kano,
I don't ride my bicycle on the road due to jackasses, and I don't operate any of my vehicles stupidly because quite frankly, as much as I don't care much for most humans, I have enough brain matter to act responsibly around other people.

If you want to ride fast, keep it on the track. Otherwise, do us all a favor and get a vasectomy. A spelling/grammar tool would also be advised.

just joking.... But hell, that would have been extremely funny if you really did mess up all the spellings in that sentence. lol

I don't wanna be all high and mighty about it. I ride hard from time to time, and have been known to pull the front wheel up on less than private roads. But would NEVER go riding after drinking for one, and surely not go racing down the streets at high speeds after drinking. just flat out stupid.

I think there is a certain level of control that we have, and its not the fast riding that bothers me so much. Its the detractions. The drinking, the cops behind you detracting from really watching what your doing. The paying more attention to the people watching you ride than where you are riding. Thats what just doesn't make since.

I have a neighbor with a Harley who said "lets go for a weekend ride, one bar and one beer per hour, you don't get drunk". I declined.

I love beer (drinking a Fat Tire right now), but I won't drink even one beer and ride. (I won't talk about 25 years ago. Stupid time before a divorce.)

i have ran a few times on my ducati. Mostly in state parks where tickets are ridiculous.

I have ran many times on 4 wheels too, never been caught. I take pride in my driving skills, but never run unless the fine will be too big, aka JAIL. I have to sum up the odds very quickly. Like passing a cop in a tunnell doing 115 in a 35. Ya i got away, but im not proud of it cause i had 4 other people in the car. I had no right to risk their lives, but they said to run.

My funnest evasion was in my suzuki samurai, with lots of modifications. I didnt have a plate on the truck so when i saw the cop do a 180 i simply took my first right, which wasnt a road. I went through about a 3 foot ditch and into the woods. I knew where a powerline trail was that would lead me to another road. I wish i could have seen the look on the cops face when i went into the woods running over 2 and 3 inch trees.

Okay, I don't condone running from the cops under any circumstances, maybe I've just gotten old. But that is just plain funny.

+1 Joe, you do know that once you write it down, people can read it? Are you just looking for our reaction? Where do you live and what do you ride because I'm staying the hell away from there?

Getting away seems easy enough at first, but when you're on 4-wheels, on a 2-lane canyon road with no turnoffs, your getaway is quickly stalled by a huge line of cars that won't/can't pass. So then you're forced to pass 10 or so cars on a double yellow road with basically no visiblity around the turns before the cop catches back up behind you. Tried it and succeeded, but it was way more dangerous than what the cop initially started chasing for. The cops are usually more familiar with the roads too.

In H.S. I raced the train on my bicycle and won, but the engineer slammed on his brakes, eventually came to a stop, I had to ride all the way to the end of the train to get back across the tracks, and by then all 7 of the local cops were out looking for me. That was a long ride home.

Is evading the cops the same as running from the cops?

Sometimes I know that a cop wants to pull me over, but I make a few quick turns and blast the hell out of the area. No lights, no actual chase.

Just keeping out of trouble.
Does that count?

Many Hungarians, in Hungary, start out the day with a shot of what is pretty much grain alcohol before their cereal.

Wow. These are some good stories. The last time I ran was with two friends while we were on our way back from Jackson. One budd had a gsxr 1000, the other was on a ninja 600. We were cruizin around 90 until blues came on in the median just ahead of us. Once the gsxr opened up, me and the ninja followed suit. about two miles up we took the first exit to dyersburg and dropped the hammer all the way to four points (abouta 4 mile straight). we rode over to a friends house till dark. We seen all kinds of cops runnin all over dburg that night and I even got pulled over at a red light on my way home and was asked if I came from 412. (thats the road we ran on). Ofcourse not I told him. Always be respectful is all I can say. I was let go that time.

I race the same cop usually once a week. He has a pretty quick Crown Vic cruiser.
He never wins. He always pulls me over at the end of the street and bitches at me about my speed AND kicking his *** in the race. Then we go into the cafe and get a bite to eat. Good having a brother who's a cop lol

Back in '02, the last time my wife was in Hungary with her Mom who was born there in 1921, she was staying at her cousins' house. She said that when they offer the hooch for breakfast, out of politeness you don't refuse.

I have had beer with breakfast when surfing in Mexico.

i was racing an F4i in a 45 zone, the street was empty and we were doing about 140, all of a sudden we fly by a cop... instead of running we both slowed down and pulled in front of him so he could pull us over, he drove around us laughing...

and i got pulled over for speeding, i was doing 120 in a 50 zone.. the cop asked me if i knew why he pulled me over, i laugh and say "i was a lil over the limit" and he said "yeah you were doing 68 in a 50 zone" and he let me go and asked me to slow down..

and a cop seen me and a buddy doing wheelies, and flipped a bitch to get us and we split up and ditched him.. thats it tho..
