1st off... This happened a few years ago... But after seeing all the threads people post with links to crazy craigslist add's, it reminded me... and figured i would share....

So...

about 4yrs ago, we where living in Virginia (DC area) and my wife, who had never worked, decided she wanted to get a part time job... But... I was a DM for a company there, which meant i was working ALL THE TIME!!! So we decided we needed a baby sitter... Now since she was only going to work part time, I figured we could find a sitter, somebody for just a few day's a week... more evenings kinda thing...

NOW.. here's how CraigsList got me in trouble...

Somebody said something about finding a sitter listed on Craigslist before, so i decided to check... I had searched bikes, cars, and even electronics on there before, but never thought about something like a sitter... So i log onto craigslist, and instantly see the "SERVICES" section, which is just under the for sale section, that i frequently searched.... So i start looking at the sub-catagories listed there... and see.. beauty, automotive, household, creative, labor/move, erotic, skilled trade..... WAIT EROTIC???????

Now.. I'm a 27yr old male.... so 23 or so at the time.. And now i'm faced with a problem... Do i really ignore this section, or should i take a look to see what its really about...

... of course i took a look... are you kidding me..

So i click on erotic.. and no joke.. there are LOCAL listings of basically prostitution offer's... lots of them listed as masages, or escorts, but some even listed the price for certain sexual acts... but the best part of all some of them had the word "pics" next to them... So as any guy would... I click those.. lol

And seriously, there where tons and tons of listings where people listed sexy, and usually naked photo's of themselves, along with there prices..

I could not believe it... So naturally i called a buddy of mine and had him log on and check it out... i mean come on... when you find a good deal on bike parts somewhere, you tell your friends.. well i just found something cool, so i told a friend.. lol

WELL... skip forward 24hrs... I am getting home from work, and my wife is playing the silent game with me... I ask, whats wrong... (as if i really wanted to know the answer to that question)... she of course say's what they ALWAYS say... "nothing"...

So several hours of attitude, i decide i'm going to bed.. and there it comes...

- yes, this is quoted - "Are you planning on paying someone to have sex with you?"... lol and i immediately realized what she was mad about... So i explained how i accidentally came across it, and how i'm sorry, but it was required of me as part of the "man rules" to look...

Needless to say, she was not happy...

So now i wont dare click on that erotic link anymore, cause Craig is a snitch... he turns the word erotic a different color after you have clicked on it, as a dead give away to your wife that you clicked on it...

Now...

How many have already clicked on that link?

How many are clicking on it right now?

How many are pretending they wont, but will later?
