Is a burnout abuse of a SuperHawk?

A poll like this should just say "are you a squid" since that is all it really measures. Its like asking "are spiked bolt heads and giant afros on you helmet dumb"?
No amount of votes change that its abuse. How about go ask your mechanic. Or ask if you can do burnouts and not void a warranty.

Yes joe whe know by now you dont like burnouts , we all know my thoughts about it...
this thread is quite unneccasary.... other then we made made fun off that idiot on vids
doing a burnout with a bike thats needs to be broken is dumb i agree with that will void your warranty however after a year i cant see if you void the warranty with a burnout
if you clean all the rubber off theres no evidence off the for mentioned burnout... if their not so stupid that they filmed it

really?
In case you hadn't noticed, there are many many unnecessary threads here, but we post them anyway because they're amusing. Calling this poll unnecessary is like saying the forum is not being used for its "intended purpose" after you burned up your tire.
People are voting, not with the idea of proving anyone wrong nor attempting to change anyone's opinion. It's just sense of members opinions. Your thread sparked the idea for the poll.

Well, trust me, anyone who would say that is a complete douche. And it was "in the proper spirit of the intended use of this forum" for what it's worth. I hate being misquoted.

They must have gotten the videos out of order as the last one he still had the body work on. Then the first one that instrument cluster went the same direction as the fairings.
Just my personal opinion in a phrase. "Ignorance can be fixed, Stupid is forever, likely terminal."

Back to the question... I voted harmless fun... It's like guns, the gun isn't the problem, it's the moron holding it... A burnout in itself is pretty harmless fun, if made like that... If you overdo it, it's most definitely abuse of any bike, and in the wrong place and time, it's a frigging disgrace to all other riders... But to each their own...
That said, I have very rarely done a burnout... I think can count the number of total attempts I have made on my fingers, despite having done every daft thing under the sun on two wheels... And I say attempt, since I doubt I could manage one without a few attempts, my bike is set up for traction, traction and more traction... I'm more likely to either wheelie, or stall it... And I have no desire at all to flip my bike, so most likely the last option...
I will however on occasion spin up the rear pushing the bike through corners, mostly on purpose... That's pretty good fun, and makes other riders sit up and notice as you go by... (Mostly done on track, just a note for all haters!)

$200.00 plus for a rear tire. $800.00 plus for a rear Ohlins shock, $1200.00 for GMDcomputrack (suspension tuning) ...... To see a SQUID showing their ***, wasting wrench time, and distance on a tire....priceless.. Burnouts are for squids... IMHO.

Starting to sound like maybe there's a time and place for a burnout, but for most of us the following words apply:
"These maneuvers were performed on a closed course by a trained professional, don't try this at home"
