Of course, Wicky. And as an American the British Royal Family is none of my concern and none of my business. The worse thing you can say about Queen Elizabeth is that she's largely irrelevant. Personally, I think she's a class act. A bit of a reminder of what England once was. That's something worth remembering.
Just don't ask me about her eldest son.

Please don't get sentimental and think that's she harks back to a Golden Age of God appointed ones that justifies just about anything that you wouldn't wish on friends or your worse enemy.

UK talibanesque banning of games in History
In the UK armed forces she's the one traditionally in the chain of command that's ultimately subserviently saluted through the ranks Hence political leaders do have to ask her permission to go to war (not that she ever publicly disagrees) etc
IIRC You have Congress?

As an American, I appreciate that 90% of what I love about American liberty, or what used to be American liberty, is derived from the English common law and the writings of giants like Edmund Burke and John Locke. That's the tradition I respect and honor. Shame that most Englishmen don't feel the same way. To be fair, most Americans wouldn't have clue one what I'm talking about either.

ah yes, thanks for sending those loyalists(tories) to canada. there are a bunch of their descendents in saint john nb. they like to call their city the "loyalist city" but monctonians prefer to call it "the john". haha
then you sent the fenians across the border to terrorize the british in canada. why didn't you come in for good and toss them and the monarchy out of canada too? my guess is that the weather is too shitty!

I take nothing personal, it's all in good fun...I do believe the man will be vindicated one day for most of what people are slamming him for now...no worries...
That does it, where do I sign!! Randman for President....

I might be wrong, but I thought a Navy man choosing gin over rum was grounds for a dishonorable discharge!
