Just a ridiculous styled brake cooling duct, that is all. It fits with the look of ridiculous megaphones and velocity stacks.
Thanks on the compliments, and thanks for the votes. Lets keep it going. Ask your friends to vote too, I know if we all get in on this we can win!

Yup, glad I liked the bike best that I needed to vote for hands down. I think it let me go through facebook and e-mail too? Maybe cause they're different e-mails, I dunno...
What happens to the bikes? How are you guys looking to do in the other categories?

Well, there are 3 other categories: Milwaukee Vintage Motorcycle Best of Show, Art Bike, and Horse Power (we have so much compression the little 160cc skids the tire in 4th gear, stock wont do it in 2nd).
So, I dont really know how we are going to do, but I hope we do well. The bike will have a busy summer that ends in auction Aug 25

I just heard this advertised a few times on the radio! How cool is that? I want to make it to the Iron Horse Hotel, but I just can't do it tonight. I'm pretty pissed about it. I have been following this thread and wanted to be there, but now I can't. This sucks.
Hope it goes well for Pirate Racing!

Check out the dyno video of our bike. The dyno was inop, but we spun the drum anyway.

Oh My!! Aaron Frank rode the wheels off our bike to a 4th place finish behind 3 CB not160's. He beat bikes with bigger carbs, cams, electronic ignition, more displacement, and after the initial shake down, the bike held together. Seriously a cool weekend.

The Port Washington Pirates got a mention and a photo in the September, 2011 issue of "Motorcyclist" magazine, page 26.
The photo is of Aaron Frank in a tuck atop the Pirates' CB160 at the Road America Vintage Motorcycle Classic on what Motorcyclist calls a "gorgeous machine".
Congrats Bill!

Hey, has anyone here ever used an HEI ignition module to control dwell on a points or a hall effect (dyna) pickup bike? Need info, as we need some serious spark energy for what we are up to.

Need some serious help here folks. Its voting time, and you know the drill. We still need to get our bike assembled, but it is very close. Get out there and vote for Port Washington High school, the only 90 degree crank, trellis frame, extended and braced swingarm, aluminum bodywork (kiddo made), bike in the voting.

Well, I have a school bus...so that is a win. And thanks to all who have voted so far. Posted more pics tonight of some hot items. We will have a nearly final picture up tomorrow. If anyone is going to be at RA for AHRMA or at Grattan, give me a shout!
