Benefit for a Friend

I am working on it, For one I hate to work for the Man, and two I need the tax write-offs!!! Saved my bacon last year...

Yep, the tax thing is a twin-edged sword. You've been on both sides so you know. Once you've done it on your own there's no going back - not completely at least.
I hope everyone is out riding! Hopefully this thread will pick up a bit as people get back into the work week.
I gotta heap of Honda down back. I just finished putting new EBC pads on the Interceptor rear caliper so it's up on its centerstand. The Prelude is on jackstands - got a funny oil leak ever since the mechanics put a new valve cover gasket on it. And I'm refinishing the triples for the Superhawk. I gotta get some pictures of the triples then the rest can wait for morning.

We can't let this drag on forever no matter what we feel individually. We are in a sport, a brotherhood that deals with and accepts losses of this nature. When I said I thought that we should make a substantial gift I meant that in a very finite sense. Give what you can, put a 39c stamp on it and it's done. We move on - we don't have a choice because next week there will be another call. Answer them all with the same honor and due diligence.

Paypal funds have been transferred to my bank account. Please, no more Paypal donations. Total is $177.52 Paypal, $45 in checks, and add in another 20% for nuhawk and myself. I will send this out Monday probably since it takes a few days for the transfer to go through.
Again, thank you all for donating to this great cause. I'm sure every little bit helps Abby and her family right now.

Check was drawn today. Total Paypal donations: $225.77. Total checks: $45.00. Add nuhawk's and my 10% ($27.07 x 2) and you get a total of $324.91. I added a buck and donated another $5 for the check fee and bought a card.
For the guys who sent checks, I forgot them at home. That's why they haven't cleared yet. They will be deposited tomorrow or Monday.
Here's a pic...
Get well soon, Abby!
