Necropost!
I play drums. Currently own a 7 piece Mapex double bass kit. 10"splash, 16" crash, 18" crash, 22" ride all Paiste PST7s then I have a paiste 18" 502 china and a 16" zildjian scimitar crash.
It's a fun kit to play. Just picked the sticks back up after almost a 10 year hiatus. Got back in the groove Quick and formed a band that plays every thing from regee and blues to death Metal and punk. A lot of it infuses together well. Already got our first gig lined up on the 11th of July, second on the 24th and 5 more in the works right now.

Tweety, I'm glad to see you had no ulterior motives in your musical pursuits. Given the circumstances I wouldn't have either. Yeh right!
I am basic acoustic, guitar, resophonic guitar, mandolin and banjo, with some harmonica in the mix. I have interests in various directions in music from classical, rock, pop, blues, bluegrass ect.

I had my own classic rock band for about 5 years. We gigged it and had a good time. I went through 5 member shuffles and then got tired of getting gig, lugging the equipment, handling the money and listening to people bitch. I miss the hell out of it though! I still keep my bass kit out n the shop and practice every day if I can. I have the band practice PA set up out there and run my iPod through it for some tunes while I work.

Yeah I still play, though I could always mix better than play.......
I guess I was pretty good at it as I was one of the House Sound Engineers at the Whisky A Go Go in fun filled Hollywood from the late 80's to the mid 90's.
So yeah I could tell you some stories.....
Right now I still have 3 Gibson Les Pauls
A R7 - Custom Shop '57 Re-Issue
A Jr.
and a Standard
I also have a Fender SRV Strat
An Ibanez Artist
And to round things out a Gibson CL-30 Deluxe for the Acoustic Days
