Sweet bike on ebay
Yeah it was a failure and never won but I still think it's magnificent and I can't think of too many other bikes I'd rather own. The high bid really is a sign that times suck right now. A few years ago this bike easily would have bid 2 or 3x that much.

Yeah it's just so cool. I would love to just once see the looks on people faces when you pull up to a bike night with THAT thing. And I've seen some of the modded racebikes with high mount dual exhaust & different wheels and swingarm, really cool. Oh well I have an original decal kit and the front fairings off a real VR racebike (complete with roadrash) signed by pascal picotte and mike smith. Guess those will have to do for now. Airtech still sells the bodywork for these things I always wanted to build a replica on something like a TL1000R. Bet you could make it look pretty accurate for alot cheaper than the real thing, and it'd go faster and be reliable and serviceable as well.

I remember those things. The black and orange paint scheme.I saw them race some where.I've allways been a fan of twins so Im sure I was rootin for them. But the badest thing I ever saw stomp it's way down a race track was a Britten at Laguna Seca.

I think you're on to something there. What Doug did with his '96 VFR and recent CBR plastics was brilliant - not that Superbling was shabby. It would be worth a shot and it would be a hoot at bike night.

XLCR Cafe Racer. And only in Hollywood would it beat a GSXR in a ****** drag race HAHA. Anyway that is an GREAT movie!!! Definitely up at the top of the list.

There are VERY FEW (make the VERY, VERY FEW, given my aversion to posercycles) Harleys I would EVER consider parking in my garage, but this is one of them. Not too fussy for the two-sided colour scheme though...
