Seat Covers
These look really nice in the pictures.

I bet the average Joe wouldn't be able to install this and have it look as good.
Since I can't buy a Sarget Seat...gets me thinking. Some stiffer foam or gel ...the ebay cover and take to upholstery shop....hmm.

I consider myself a pretty average Joe and I've recovered a bunch of seats. It would be ALOT easier and ALOT faster with a pro staple gun, but I've done them all with an Arrow stapler from Home Depot. Yeah it's a pita because they're not powerful enough but you just need some patience. You just have to position it properly and if you've ever stretched a canvas it's kind of the same idea. I just bought seat covers off ebay for my FZR600 project and if you mail them your seat pan and foam I believe they'd do it for free. I of course like doing it the hard way and did them myself but they turned out fine. Shop around though, you may find that once you buy the cover and pay an upholstery shop you'll probably be in the same neighborhood as a good used Sargent or Corbin...

Here's a thread from VTR1000.org about what looks to be covers from the same source.
