Continental Road Attack Tires
Anyone ever bought from AccessorySurplus? They have a set of Continental Road Attack tires for $200 with free shipping. Good deal? Good tires?

they are awsome tires. you might ask them if they would do a sport front tire. the road rear and sport front are a good combination for durability and tire life (i am in no way afiliated with this company)
dang that sounds like one of thouse 3.a.m. infomercials that yah watch when yur too lazy to go to bed....

Tires
I just installed an Avon 46 st ..wild looking tire..supposed to wear good..I will let you know as the season progress's..I would appreciate hearing how the Road Attack holds up and performs.. I got the Avon installed and balanced for $269.00 Canadian.. our tire prices can be nasty..

Avons Vs Contis
I have run 2 sets on Avons, SP front and ST rear. They're OK and wear well but have been superceded by a newer "model". I just fitted a set on Conti Sport Attack front & Road Attack rear combo ($209 with free shipping, so the $200 deal for the Road set is good but I also recommend the combo). Not enough miles to say other than the Sport Attack front steers quicker than the Avon SP front to the extent I may not raise the rear ride height on my Penske 2-way; although the Avon ST was so squared-off that might have been what was slowing turn-in. I'll report once I have more miles, including rain time. The Avons were supposed to be good rain tires and while better than the Bridgestone 010/020 combo I felt the Avons could have been better in the wet.
