WTB Front cylinder head

I'm checking the forums to see if anybody may have one of these laying around and may want to get rid of it.
Ive got a '98 Hawk with a broken exhaust stud that has been stubborn to remove.

Im looking at eBay right now for a used head and searching here in case I can't extract this stud from the head. 😞
I'm going to do my best to remove this stud but if not I'll be needing another to get this steed back on the road.
Thanks. 🤟✌️

I see two fronts (and one pair) plus a few rears which are no help, on eBay right now. Reasonably priced, too, IMO. Used to be nearly impossible to find a front on the bay.

Yeah I've only seen one front for $139 w/ free shipping. 🤷🏼‍♂️
I put it on my watch list for now hoping someone here may want to part one from their closet for a reasonable price.

Im hell bent to remove this stud but also looking at every possibility I have to get this bike on the road again.
Thanks. 👍🤟

I have a head but not sure if it was the front or rear. But really are they not the same ?

They are not. They appear to have been designed so they may be used as a front or rear depending on which CCT installation location is machined/finished. There was a discussion about this on here before, but I'm not aware of anyone finishing off the unfinished CCT location, spinning the head 180 degrees and using it as its opposite. The original CCT hole would have to be plugged, of course.

I don't know if that is the only difference between front and rear, but it looks that way.

We haven't finished arguing whether the heads can be interchanged, yet.
