Hey guys, I am new tot he forum and the superhawk. I just bought my first sportbike and the famous cct are bad. Along iwththat I had to replace the rear head. I am looking for rear head and both head cover gaskets. Altenator side cover gasket (I think that is what it is called). If you have them or know where I can get them a a fairly decent price let me know!

Also, how do you know the CCT's are bad?

 

Only the rear one is bad. The spring inside if it was broken and it took out the valves on the rear head. I have the rear head now. I will start installing tomorrow. Along with that I am replacing the front cct witht he apes just in case. I bought the bike this way (got a good deal) and can't wait to have it up and running. Hopefully I will have it going this week if everything goes well. This is my first sport bike so I am excited!

 

Okay the bike is running!!! It wasn't as hard as we thought! So I am no longer in need of any gaskets for it! Thanks for the help though. Look forward to seeing you all on the road!
