What to lower your pegs? Buell Mod Pegs

Hi, I have a set of buell pegs I had on my Superhawk. I'm only looking to get out of them what I paid which was $35+ shipping.

If your interested PM me and I'll get back to ASAP. I have some photos if you really what to check them out. Again, just PM me and I'll get back to you.

As for fit, they are ready to be installed, it was pretty easy and they are already rounded and prepared. so pull your pins and springs, slap them on and your golden. you will notice a difference!

I've done 400+ mile days with no complaint about the pegs, but my *** starts burning after about 300 miles, and I'm mildly annoyed about having to rearrange the plumbing against the rear of the fuel tank every time I get back on the bike.

Hey, guys. I thought the deal was classifieds get handled through PM's. So, I have been handling it that way. I was dealing with "filter69", he said he was going to pay but I haven't received it yet. If it doesn't show by 12-noon tomorrow I will move to the next in line. Who, happens to be "HawkRider98". If he can't do it for what ever reason I'll keep on moving down the list.

I'm trying to be proactive but I'm waiting on the PayPal to come through, they were already boxed and ready to go.

Well there goes the first in line rule out the window. I was first when I said I was interested. But no need following the rules I guess.

Can you tell me what mods needed to be done to the pegs? I will just go get them from Buell if they make a difference.

I did the Buell peg mod on my XX. The pegs needed to be ground down some on the flats so that they would pivot freely, and they needed to be drilled out to accept the XX mounting pins. In the end, they don't quite sit flush - the bottoming stop is too short, so they drop a little past the horizontal.

In addition, because they are a "drop" peg, the pad area of the peg is moved out some - perhaps a half inch on each peg. I had to bend the brake pedal on the XX to comfortably reach it from the new peg position. The shifter suffers from the same issue, but I can catch it with my toe reliably.

I can't say on the SuperHawk, but on the XX, it wasn't plug-and-play. I am happy with the results, though.

If folks are interested, I'll look over on CBR1100XX.com for the Buell part numbers.
