Sad but true-
The only way to come close to getting your money back on a VTR, if you have the time and patience, is to dismantle it and sell the parts online.

Simple, I'm Older.... they would both be my bikes, I'd have the keys,,, and I can still kick his ***
I'm actually serious... I know it's been for sale for a bit now.... No time to get it now, just like in 2005 when I had a chance....But I have good friends in AZ that could use a visit... ..Wife would shoot me if I used my mid tour leave to get a bike,, but after I'm back..........

I've got time to wait for the right buyer. I'm not in a big hurry to sell the bike and I don't really have the time or inclination to part it out. I like to ride it too (as rarely as I do) and I think taking it apart would sort of take away from the fun.
