Vapor Recovery Fuel Nozzle Tool
Trying to gauge if there is any interest in a tool that makes it easy to use vapor recovery fuel nozzles.
I know that they are in use in CA, but don't know where else.
The tool I came up with is the same a size as your drivers license/gas card and will fit in your wallet.
It's easy to use and makes filling up a cinch.
Yes I know that they are already out there, but I'd like to think that mine is better than the others and cheaper to boot, i.e. $5.00 shipped.

Here in California we have these spring loaded rubber boots on the fuel nozzles that seal up tight against the filler neck on your car or truck. The pump will not run unless they are fully compressed which means that you have to either shove the nozzle into the tank and can only fill it partially, or hold the boot back with your other hand. Either way is a PITA.
This tool holds the boot for you allowing an easy, and complete, fill of your tank.
I've used mine for a number of years and friends have asked me to make them one so I started a small production run to see if there are other that would be interested.
It's made of plastic so it won't scratch your tank and is the same size as a credit card to fit your wallet. I keep mine in my right sleeve pocket in my Aerostich suit along with my gas card.

Should go in the mail today. Never mind, post office is closed so I'll ship them tomorrow.
Forgot today is Saturday, which means they'll go out on Monday.

Went to the post office today to ship one to Canada and was told that I was supposed to add 20 cents to the regular postage because of the shape of the content.
I haven't received any back but it would be nice to know that you received yours.
Also, if you did, are you happy with the way the tool works ?

Although from the Devil's advocate side of things, I don't mind safer, more environmentally friendly filler stations for 100% of the cars at the inconvenience of the .5% of us who ride

Sorry for the slow update... Havent had much time for riding or the forum lately! I did get to try mine out and it worked just great!!! It now has a permanent home in my jacket pocket. 
I gave the second one I ordered to a buddy, but haven't gotten feedback from him yet. I'm sure it will be positive though... Especially since he got his for free.

I just got to use mine today as my tank was full at the first blizzard & has lasted til today. I am happy to report that it functions as engineered. I highly recommend them & actually bought my second one to mail to my dad but didnt want to til I used it.

Just tried this today and it worked really well.
I have a KTM 990 Adventure and filling up its dual tanks is always a hassle. Its easy to have gas spray back if you don't get the correct combination of nozzle angle/gas flow and vapor boot pull back.
The tool was easy to slip on and gave plenty of visibility when fueling up, especially since I now can now do it one handed.
I keep the tool in my glove box. Well worth 5 bucks.

Mine showed up right away, mailed fast.
Only tried 2 gas stations so far but it fits right. Made the Chevron a lot easier and nicer to be able to see into the tank when topping off.
And with my ST1100, I stick it under the fuel door so i don't have to dig it out of a pocket when I fill up. A little spot of velcro might hold it in place for other bikes...

Okay, I finally got around to trying this thing, awesome. I like the hole design over the Aerostich version, it is less likely to fall off the nozzle. Held the vapor thing back perfectly. Heavy construction yet lightweight. At this time I can't think of any needed improvements.
You should mass produce these babies with ads for cycle shops,mags, etc. Much better than keyrings. Let me know if you want someone walk these around the SF bay area.

Thanks for the endorsement, I appreciate it.
Folks don't realize how convenient this tool really is, especially if you try and get that last bit of fuel into the tank.
And once you've used it, you don't want to be without it, ever.
