Year: SAYS 1998 ~ 2002 BUT THE UNIT I HAVE FIT A 2005 & THE MAIN U-BAR IS ONE PIECE AND HAS TABS THAT 2 BRACKETS BOLT TO PROVIDING A 4-POINT ATTACHMENT, SO IT SHOULD FIT 1998 ~ 2005 AS THERE WERE NO CHANGES TO ALL YEARS THAT WOULD PREVENT MOUNTING TO THEM

NOTE: The Delrin nylon sliders show signs of slight wear but are more than serviceable. With some cleaning, sanding, primer and fresh paint plus the missing 2 lower mounting bolts, washers and nuts (or better, new stainless steel fasteners all around) it will look and perform about as new. Not sure if this is the same or not...looks like the one in the link but your description sounds different

 

All but the "slider" assembly was removed when I received the engine and frame. See my photos and link to RT 905 Racing website. The link the Captain posted shows apparently yet another type of Rt905 case guards. If you look at my photos, the U-bar I think goes under the engine and insert into where the delrin pieces are bolted to the frame, then there are brackets that bolt to the U-bar tabs and extend down and bolt where I included pics of where my other case guards attach down low.
