SOLD - Ohlins shock
Hello,
Reposting since my previous ad was marked as sold and the shock is still available. New low price $550 shipped.
Here are more details:
The shock has been entirely overalled a little over a year, fresh oil, preload adjuster was bled and flexible was changed by Catalyst Reaction here in Redwood City, CA.
It is currently set up for a 155 - 175 rider if I remember correctly.
The hydraulic preload ring that sits on top of the spring has some scratches. The previous owner tried changing the preload by rotating the nut, little did it know that this could only be done with the spring removed.

Sak, the original thread had a link to an auction that someone commented on being complete. That's why I edited the title. Sorry bud!!

No worries, I tried editing the title of my posts but it had no effect on the thread title. I'll know who to bug next time cheers

I paid about $425 for my Ohlins. With yours having a fresh redo, you're close. Be patient, you should at least get some offers.

Sorry for the slow reply. I do know Dave Moss from Catalyst Reaction quite well, he sets up the suspension for many of the guys racing here with the AFM (American Federation of Motorcyclists) and has an excellent reputation.
Naturally there are many suspension guys out there, but if you are local to the bay I would definitely stop by his shop in San Carlos and have a chat with him.
You can tell Regis sent you.

The other resource in the Bay Area (Yes Dave is good and has a nice shop well worth a trip to stop by) especially if you run Ohlins is Dan Kyle in Sand City.

Thanks All!
Right now I'm running what I believe to be a stock suspension. I'm unsure if the springs are the stock rate but I know the rest is OEM. I'm planning to run by Catalyst's once I get my bike all back together. (Short ride from Livermore) I brought it back home this weekend to put it all back together and ride it around to check for stress cracks. Here's the thread with my project (https://www.superhawkforum.com/forum...r-paint-30233/). Again, Thanks all for the support, it's making the transition much easier.
