Sorry to crash your tent but thanks for updating your add. For those that don't know, this was my first mod to the bike. The front brakes suck **** - kill you **** disfunctional.
OKOKOKOK So I read here that the 2001-2003 6 pots from Gixxers work on our bikes. I like bolt on. At the same time a member puts up a pair of ProLite Rotors. I got all this **** tore apart so why not?
This setup was the solution to the front braking problem. I can stoppie from a hundred. Two fingers. And it stays dead-on track.
I paid a $100 for my set, ordered a set for Eric for $135, and that's just for the calipers. The pads were extra for both of us and they last forever!
This is a very good mod for the basic Superhawk that will make it much more proficient on the road for the average to advanced rider.
If you use flat-rate boxes from the PO you can prob ship the calipers and pads for less than $10

Yes direct bolt on. If you are using the Honda reservoir you have to be creative with mounting the reservoir to the handlebars as the SH reservoir mounts to the MC clamp / lever perch. This will not work with the GSXR set up. I just zip tied it to the MC clamp. I will post sale pending for you while you decide as to purchase these. Blamecanada has dibs if you decide against the purchase.
