Can you run 12 to 1 pistons on pump gas? My first car was a beater 69 Pontiac GTO (11.75 to 1) and I used to mix 3/4th super unleaded with 1/4 leaded regular back when it was available. I still ended up retarding the timing a scootch to stop the knocking.
I hope the PO of that 'Hawk also put some money into suspension and brakes.
My favorite bike to date (I haven't found MY SuperHawk yet, was a KZ650 that I built as a Cafe Racer. It had a 740 piston kit and Z1 carburetors. It made lovely snarls and pops through its 4 into 1 exhaust. I had gotten new aftermarket shocks for it which improved the handling. I was actually saving up for a second disc brake kit for the front wheel when I rear-ended an idiot stopped at the top of a blind corkscrew interstate on-ramp. Oh foolish youth.
The moral of my sad story is spend your hop-up money on brakes, tires, and suspension first. The engine will wait.

Stock forks, calipers and I suspect as well, springs and valves/shims then, so, bone stock apart from exhaust, and possibly (likely?) pistons and cams... Ie, way to much engine for the suspension and brakes... I'd pass...
