FS RC51 Caliper Upgrade
I am selling a set of '00-'01 RC51 front calipers with Goodridge s/s lines, lengths 26" and 28", a gsxr 1000 brake lever and master cylinder along with a set of new EBC HH pads for $200 plus shipping.
The pads that are on the calipers are the EBC HH pads and have approximately 50% left on them. the brake lever end is broken. I am selling these because I went to the gsxr 6 pot calipers. The gxsr brake lever psiton is 5/8" or 16mm versus stock SH 14mm.

are all these a direct stock replacement, as in I don't have to modify/fab up anything?
And is this kit complete, or are there other things I'd need to buy to make it complete.
If everything bolts right up and it's complete I'd be interested.

Everything is a bolt on, I have already ground the calipers to fit. They were on my bike until I replaced them with the 6 pots. The only thing you may need is a double banjo bolt for the m/c. I am including the double bolt that came with the calipers so it may work without buying a new one. Other than that, everything is there.

I can attest that the RC calipers and new MC are a worthy upgrade to the hawk.
I have a very similar set up and is putting everything together, I paid over the 200 with all the different shipping , etc.

Nobody interested in upgrading their front brakes? You figure $50 for the s/s brake lines, $60 for a set of brake pads and the calipers go for $75 to $125 for the larger diameter pistons, plus a better m/c.
An inexpensive way to improve the overall braking on the SH which is one of the two issues with this bike, braking and suspension.

I would man but I'm converting the 'Hawk over to a flat tracker so I have no need for front brakes. I've already got the rotors off and it feels like the turn in is much improved.

That's right. Dirt track, short track, oval track. That stuff.
I was just kidding though. I had the rotors off cause one was bent. Just got her all put together with some HH pads and a new tire!
