FS: Rapid Transit "The Stack" Tank Bag
SOLD!
This is the Stack tank bag from Rapid Transit which is designed to be a 3 in 1 bag set up. It consists of two tank bags, a large one and a medium one, and a magnetic base. Used by itself, the base can be used strictly as a map window. To use either of the two bags, simply zip them to the base and attatch to your tank. They advertise this thing showing both bags being used at the same time on your tank (everything zips together), but it is too tall as one unit. So, on long trips where I needed both bags, I would mount the medium bag to the tank, and use the large one as a tailbag. Just use a cargo net on the back and you're set. All original items included.
Here's a link from newenough showing some detailed pics: http://www.newenoughhp.com/luggage/t..._tank_bag.html
I've had mine for close to 2 years and have used it a handful of times. It looks brand new. I don't do any amount of distance riding anymore, and when I need a tank bag, use my small Cortech.
Price is $75 plus shipping (MSRP is $150). Item is in Knightdale, NC if anyone wants to pick up local.

i looked at that very tank bag a couple years ago. it is very nice but i found it to be pricey so i bought another brand double stack bag. if i was buying today i would buy yours. sad part - i still haven't used my bag!
comment about height: i bought the double stack bag for the height. i used to rest my chest on the front(back?) of my old tank bag. i was effectively laying down on it. i noticed that i could add to my comfort if i put my fist on the top of the tank bag and rested my chin on it so i wouldn't have to hold my head up. so, i bought the double stack to get the height so i could rest my chin too. hopefully i'll get to test it this summer.
someone should buy theis bag now.
