I'm going to buy a used VTR very soon.
Maybe even this weekend if I can swing the deal.
Both the ones I'm looking are full stock.
One is an 03 the other is an 01.
The 03 was WAY too quite on the test ride! (but only 600 miles)
Checking out the 01 this weekend. (7000 miles)
Will I need to rejet with your exhaust system?
Can I use just the cans w/o rejetting? (will they slip on the stock pipes?)

It's a full system.. All slip on joints with spring tensioners. You will most likely need to do some tuning with the install... It will make 6 to 10 more hp's. I suggest at least going up in the main jets. Mine dynoed 109.1 with this kit on it.
You can't slip them on your stock pipes. You will need to put the whole kit on.
It's not really hard to put together. I was able to put it on in under an hour.
Not too loud and not too quiet. This kit sounds beautiful.

I still have them. I have been lazy and have not put them on e-bay yet.

After much debate with myself I elected to go with a new system (TBR)
I was very torn between systems because yours is the better of the two.
I finally found & got in touch with the Akrapovic importer to ask about a replacement can.
They could get one at a cost of $497 for one Ti can! (damn thats alot of $ for 1 can)
So the deciding factor came down to putting on a system that had no road rash for the least $. (only because my bike is still like new -1600 miles)
I bet your system will sell quickly on eBay.
