Engine, swingarm, OEM parts, more

Hi guys,

Cleaning out the basement of things that have been gathering dust. Prices are negotiable and I’m still looking for GSXR calipers, F4 retrofitted shocks, Bagster tank bra or what have you. Prices do not include shipping.

Stock air box with OEM filter: $35 plus shipping

Stock air box with K&N filter: $55 plus shipping

Stock swingarm with CBR brace (unwelded): $60 plus shipping UPDATE ** SOLD to the DOG**

Stock top triple tree: $35 plus shipping

Stock headlight: $55 plus shipping **UPDATE** SOLD

Stock gas cap with one key: $40

Stock gas cap with no key: $20 (This is my old gas cap. I can throw in a key for whatever the replacement cost is -- $15? I'll have to call my dealer...)

OEM CCT: Came of a 22k bike. $15 plus shipping ** UPDATE: Sold pending payment**

SH Engine with CCT mod – I picked this up with a bunch of other stuff. I don’t know anything about this engine other than the fact that the CCT has been done and it DOESN’T have the carbs. I won’t ship this thing, but I will deliver it anywhere in Maine or NH for gas money and anywhere in New England for the cost of a rental and gas money. $350 bo.

Other stuff

Front fairing. I went naked with my bike and this is what’s left. It’s been painted in a metallic silver. $150 bo. (No pictures right now, but I can take them if you’re interested.)

RC51 seat. I was going to convert to a RC51 tail section, but decided not to. I bought this for $80 on Ebay and would like to get this plus shipping.

‘Busa fairing. $50 plus shipping.

Thanks! Let me know if you'd like to see more pictures.

Actually, if the front glass on that headlight is reasonably scratch free I'd take it... PM on the way...

PM sent, Tweety. I'll bring the headlight to work tomorrow and get you a shipping quote.

I can sell just the brace, CW. It will need to be welded onto the swingarm. How does $30 sound? I'll bring that tomorrow, too, and let you know what it would cost.

Someone wants the engine, right? Come on, the CCTs are usually like $100 alone, no?

I'll check on shipping with and without the actual swingarm, CW. I sent a powercoated swingarm to Sweden a bit ago and think it came to $60, so I think it would be less than that.

I know what you mean, RWhisten. I had high hopes for the engine, too. We're just thinking about moving back to civilization (we're in central Maine now) and probably won't have room for it.

Hi guys,

I'll invoice you later Tweety. Shipping is $6.55 for the headlight.

CW: Shipping on the swingarm and brace would be $41, give or take. Shipping on the brace only would be $10. Let me know what you'd like.

Thanks!

I just sent it out of the PO. UPS was going to be something like $180.

The CCTs are boxed up and I'll get the shipping cost tomorrow morning. Let me know your thoughts CW. I've got someone else who might be interested.

Thanks all!

Man I realy could use a clutch cover have been looking for one for some time. the motor Im building has a hole in it from a fall the donner bike took. worth a try if you say no im not out nothing. I could send you my old one to cover up the clutch stuff if you wanted. or I can check when my friend who drives a rig will be heading that way maybe take the whole motor. but that is only a slight chance.

Hey CW: I'll hit up the other dude and see see if he's interested. I'll post SOLD on items as they go away. So far nothing has moved.

Stumpy: I have the engine up on Ebay, too. I don't expect that it will sell, but who knows? If it doesn't we can work out something on the clutch cover, but I don't want to start taking stuff off the engine mid-auction. It's just about over, I think, and I'll post back here when it ends.

Well... Consider the headlight sold... As soon as I see an invoice I'll pay it...

BTW that shipping is US to my frieght forwarder, so I'll pay another $10-15 to get it too me... Still considerably cheaper than USPS across the pond...

Hey Tweetsome: I sent the invoice yesterday, but I'll send it on over again.

Shipping for the CCTS would be $5.25, Orangezik. I can get them out tomorrow morning, if you want them. I can invoice you (as I've somehow failed to do with Tweety) or you can send a paypal check to randymoser@yahoo.com.

Thanks

Here's what the dude told me about my bike: He said it had been in a flooded basement and when it was recovered, the bodywork had been removed. He said he then purchased all new stuff, painted it, and sold it to me.

Now my subframe has a moto guzzi plastic inner fender and the tail section has broken tabs. So I sort of doubt this was new stuff... That said, it looks good to me. It's metal flake silver, which is... bling? Is that the word the kids are using? I can take pictures if you're interested.

There are four people who have asked about the swingarm at this point. T-Dogg is the next in line. If he can't make the deal, I'll let y'all know.

I just sent you another invoice, Tweety. I'll send you a handwritten receipt in a few minutes.

The CCTs are boxed up, Orangezik. Ready to go when you are...

Another day or so left on the engine on Ebay. If I start parting that thing out, I'll probably go all the way so y'all should make lists of items you may need in the future

Thanks!

Hiho,

Swingarm and brace are gone. Engine and RC51 seat didn't sell. I know we can't take offers, but let me know if you need something off the engine and I'll give you a price. Or you can PM me an offer.

Tanks!

Hi guys,

Sorry, I haven't been here for a bit. Let me get the parts together, take some pictures, and then post the prices. I think the OEM CCT are spoken for.

Hi all,

I'm going to start another thread with the new and revised items. Some parts are going to have to go back up, since the folks who said they wanted them vanished. As of right now, the clutch cover goes to Stupmy first (if he wants it), then taskmasta, then that poor dude in the thread above this one.

I have a few folks who have asked about the stock CCTs and at least two people in line on the APEs.

Now the engine is open, so let me know if you need a started, heads, valve covers, etc...
