Crash & Burn Sale! Airboxes! Calipers! EVEN more!

Hi guys,

Ok, still trying to move some stuff that has followed me around. I’ll get pictures up later, if you need them. (BUT! Do you really need to see an airbox or a wiring harness? Has TV ruined really ruined our imaginations that much!? )

Prices are negotiable. Buyers will pay shipping. I’m not going to attempt to ship the engine. Still looking to trade for tank bras, stuff for the CBR100RR front-end upgrade (I have the tree, but need the yoke and everything else), etc…

Engine: Make me an offer I can’t refuse. Local pick up only. I’m in NH.
Airbox:$15
Airbox (w/ K&N): GONE
Wiring harness (looks complete w/ coil and black box): GONE
Stock calipers: $50
Tank (painted black, has petcock): GONE (Well, I've decided to use it)

VTX (for under-the-seat mod)
Radiator (Yep, with this you can do the under-the-seat mod you’ve seen right here. Actually fairly difficult to come by item. Includes fan.): GONE

RC51
Seat (perfect): $35
Tail (pained in truck-bed liner. Don’t ask): $35

1991 CB750
Top yoke (has absolutely no value to you): $25

CBR100RR
Double-Bubble shield (Does not look like it was ever installed. Clear): $30

CR

Found the EMC! I'll calculate shipping this afternoon and PM you.

BTW: The rad that I'm selling was part of the recipe that Kai Ju used to make his bike. I bought it from a former lister and didn't do the modification myself. You really need to search the master if you want all the info on how to do it. To me it's just a big, ugly radiator now

Oh yeah, man. The dog is wicked. I got the girl, the dog and the bike. If I had better teeth I'd run for president!

I have a long day at work tomorrow Calitoz so I might have to get you shipping on Friday morning.

I tell you, we should collapse the DMV and the post office and have a department of ********. No offense to the men and women in blue here, but the sooner post offices are run by machines the better as far as I’m concerned.

So, anyhow, here are the prices for shipping your items. First come first serve:

Wiring Harness to Ottawa: $30.50 Priority; @27.95 Medium Flat
Radiator to 53711: $14.05 Priority

Wiring Harness to 96720: $10.95 First Class; $20.70 Priority
I didn’t get the Wiring Harness and the Rad to 96720. Why don’t we assume $14.50?

So PM me with your thoughts, guys.

BTW: I also have a set of frame sliders. Make me an offer / trade / etc...?

Thanks!

No worries,

I just want the ECM as I am trying to get my RC51 Meters working. You can have the harness if that's what you need

I'm not going to buy, I just can't right now, so I hope you buy this. After looking earlier this year on flea-bay, I can tell you this is ONE HELL OF A DEAL for a VTX rad/fan!

Thanks, calitoz and superhen for the update on your plans! I will now look into it.
I am looking at these parts as extra parts. If anyone (like calitoz) needs these to get
their bike running, by all means go for it. I would rather see fellow members bikes running, than parts sitting in my storage room. Thanks Crashrat for the quotes, will keep in touch. Very good deals here!

Um, ok, how do we want to move forward?

If Calitoz buys the harness for the EMC, he could just give the rest to Onomea…

Or I could sell Calitoz the EMC for, say, $15 and sell Onomea the rest for $20? Would that work for you guys? Or do you have another idea?

No problem shipping overseas, Revelation. I’ll get the cost for that on Monday.

No one wants airboxes?

Crashrat, I think that it would be a lot easier just to sell it all to calitoz. I was mostly interested in the EMC also, but as mentioned earlier just as spare parts.
I am just as well wait for another good deal. Thanks for the concern. Calitoz,
go for it!.

Okido no hurry.
My engine needs to go to Roger Ditchfield first.
Will be months before it will be finished.

Eh yes, if you need to get wrid of airboxes...
I could use an airbox top for experimenting with this:
VTR1000F FireStorm Air Box Mod
VTR1000F FireStorm Air Box Mod Page 2
Any one tried this?

And if you get to page 3:
VTR1000F FireStorm Air Box Mod Page 3

You'll see that it didn't work and even that guy went back to stock.

So you can try but the chances of you getting it to work are very slim.

Hmmm never seen this page. FAIL!
But duly noted... on other hand my engine does have the cams + pistons

My graph (for the black bike) looks way better; see here.
This is with a lightened flywheel, dyno kit and stacks.

Ah, my PM is broken. This was sent to yuour board about two weeks ago, Calitoz.

***
Hey Calitoz,

Here are your options, my man:

If you just want the ECM I’ll separate it for $15 so your totals will be:
$45.50 Priority; @42.95 Medium Flat

If you want the whole harness your totals would be:
$65.50 Priority; @62.95 Medium Flat

You can send a paypal check for whatever you decide to: randymoser@yahoo.com

Thanks!
**

Rev, I'm a jerk and forgot to go to the po again on Friday. I found out the dog has Lyme so there's a good chance I do, too. That's my excuse anyhow.

Tomorrow!

Is the motor still available? I know someone who will be driving up to NH next month, if you still have it maybe we can work something out. I have a superhawk frame I need a motor for.

Sorry to hear about your dog, ours was just diagnosed with Lyme's after we noticed him not acting himself. 5 days into treatment he's looking much better.

Yep, I still have it. A crisp $100 and it's yours. It is missing a few minor things -- people wanted the black clutch cover and CCTs -- but is mostly there. I can toss in an extra flywheel, too. I'm in Concord, NH, but can meet your buddy anywhere within 30 minutes of here. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Ok boys and girls -- everything is still fs. One air filter has sold and I'm keeping one of the air boxes to try the VFR tank mod, but everything else is still up FS. Trades welcome.

Yep.
