Absolutely. The needles are from DJ. The slide was at one point drilled with an extra hole has been filled but the diaphragm is good. I can send you pics later. Standard flat rate shipping is about 13.00. Send me a PM with mailing address and I'll send a total cost.
Thx

I think that if you are having issues with 2 different types of needles then the issue is not the needle. The DJ and the OEM needle are almost identical but I suspect that you have them too low. Also, I do not run them on different heights, I make the needles, pilots, and AF screw the same and only change the main. When mine was relatively stock it liked 180/185 mains 4th clip and 2 ~2.5 turns out. For reference, each clip height on the DJ is about .020 so if you change the stock needle .020 with a shim, it is the equivalent of running a full clip height different and that is substantial.
If I knew more about your setup, altitude and climate I could tell you more. Symptoms too.
What about the TPS, Cam Sync, Valve Adjust, slide springs, lift holes?

I'm not having problems, I'm cleaning and rebuilding a set of carbs for a spare set for a friend from two other sets that were all fouled up with a mish mash of parts. I've been tuning VTRs for literally decades for our locale in northern IL and southern WI. For a stock engine and air filter with properly adjusted valves, I've found 48 pilot jets and either Keihn 175/178 or at most 178/180 main jets, the fuel screws 2.25~ 2.5 out, with the OEM needles shimmed .020 ~ .040 in untouched slides and springs usually gets it pretty darn close after proper syncing and setting the TPS at around 500 ohms. I'm just not sure which sets of after market needles are which. One pair are longer than stock with a longer tip below the taper. The other set are closer to stock. Maybe the longer set are Factory Pro and shorter are Dynojet. I know each clip is .020" .
Thanks for the input though.

Thanks, when you have time. For now I installed my only spare set of OEM needles shimmed .040", stock slides and springs with the 48 pilots, which has been a proven setting in the past. I also run a long velocity stack on the front carb which is supposed to improve the bottom end; it's hard to tell though.
