98 SH for sale $2800 in MI
1998 VTR 1000 for sale in the Detroit Michigan area. 25,000 miles and I am the third owner. The bike looks like hell but it runs great. I helped a friend out of a jam by buying this bike from him last fall. I like the SH but is is not the bike for me.
Here is a list of the upgrades I did over the winter:
Racetech .95 front springs (installed and tuned by the local flat track specialist) OE rear shock & spring
New Honda fork seals
All ***** tapered bearings in the steering head
All ***** wheel bearings front & rear
Remus Alum high mount exhausts
APE CCT's installed and valves adjusted
15/43 sprockets and new chain ( I forget the manf)
EBC HH pads front & rear
flush mount front turn signals
Stainless brake lines front & rear
Pazzo front brake lever, OE clutch lever
Somebodys undertail system with integrated turn sigs, prev owner installed
New Dunlop 208's; front installed, rear in garage ready for new owner.
Black 2" exhaust wrap
I am sure there are more things to add but I can't think of it right now. The previous owner threw a rattle-can black paint job on her because he hated the factory Yellow. There are no major dents or dings, just a butt ugly paint job. Sorry.
The bike runs strong. I have only put about 700 miles on her and I have had no problems with anything. Even the R/R seems to be working fine.

The paint looks bad in person. The photos hide things pretty well...kind of like a good make up job on Tammy Fay Baker...or that girl sitting at the bar that looks good after a couple of cold ones. I don't want to deceive any interested party.
Thanks,
T
