1998 Part out ('blade front end, VFR800 rear)

Long story short (and full disclosure), I had a 98 Hawk for about two years and decided to do a front end and rear end swap over winter of 11/12. Army happened and I couldn't get the time to finish it, so I sold it to a friend who promptly didn't do anything with it. Bought it bad a few months ago and I still don't have the time to do anything with it, so I decided to part it out.

While I had it I put ~1500 miles on the 05 CBR1000RR front end, and ~600ish on the modified subframe. I didn't install the VFR swingarm, but I have gone over the parts thoroughly since I've taken them off to make sure they're in good working order.

So, for sale:
[All prices do not include shipping, or come to CO Springs to look at/pick up]

VFR Parts
Name: GhqmV8A.jpg
Views: 16
Size: 862.1 KB

$500 together + shipping
$300 99 VFR800 Swingarm + dog leg
$200 wheel
$20 New in package 43t sprocket for the VFR

(I do have the rear brake caliper but it has been sitting for 2 years without fluid so I don't really feel good offering it for sale, but if you want it I'll let it go for another $10)

CBR parts
Name: eF65OKn.jpg
Views: 18
Size: 1.86 MB
$750 together + shipping

$175 05 CBR1000RR Front wheel
$250 Brake system (with new pads)
$300 forks
$200 triples (I know the lower isn't in the picture, I ran out of daylight pulling all these parts).
$20 steering bearings
SOLD woodcraft clip-ons.

I did find another CBR1000RR front wheel behind all my army stuff, so the CBR front is still available to go as a set.

I'm keeping the tire, sorry.

And now for the VTR parts
Name: 733iNRu.jpg
Views: 24
Size: 2.07 MB
$60 Stock subframe that's been shortened and welded, not just saws-all'd. Still steel though.
$10 Stock seat that's pretty beat up
$40 Stock left rearset and shift linkage
$300 Leo Vince high mount exhaust system, includes hangers and mid pipes (the cans have been shortened from ~14" to ~9" Picture) PENDING SALE
$10 New renthal 14t front sprocket
SOLD New Tsukuba 108 link 530 chain
SOLD CBR600F4i shock with Racetech spring, sprung for 180lb rider
SOLD T-Rex frame sliders SOLD
SOLD Unused Sharkskinz street lower
$50 VTR Front wheel
$50 Front brake rotors
$50 Rear wheel

Rear brake rotor not for sale because it's pretty much done, and the tire isn't for sale either.

Just to reiterate, none of the parts have been cleaned right now. I have no problems with taking individual pictures of things for you, and answer any questions you have about the items.

I also have the frame, tank (which is half sanded and probably not a good investment, honestly), engine and everything in between and that's all stock if anyone's interested. The choke guide on the rear carb is done, as is the wire harness, so if you want the some of that just give me a message and we can talk that out in a lot more detail.

Edit 1: Added individual prices and some pending sales
Edit 2: Updated sold and pending sales
Edit 3: Updated sold

They are 50mm. $50 should be fine.

I'll grab a caliper at work and check the diameter for you and get back to you later today.

Hey guys, sorry I've been kinda busy with a lot of other things too. But I did get most of the parts cleaned!

I'm going to weigh and box everything tomorrow so I can have the shipping quotes and try and send everything everyone wants by Monday.

Sounds good man, we got the front end fully sorted out today and that shock will complete it, and getting rid of my rusty chain!

What condition is the engine? How many miles? And what are you asking for it?

Got the clip ons today! Thanks!

Engine... ran when taken apart?

I can't see of think of anything wrong with the engine, but it has been sitting with no headers or coolant hoses for 2 years. 36,000 miles on -1/+2 gearing, so I don't know the actual ratio for miles there. Completely stock.

Clean title on the frame also.

Will you sell the right crankcase cover (aka clutch cover)? If so, what's the price?

Any luck finding the igntion control box. I'm actuall interest in any of the electical ingnition equpment. both boxes in the tail under the seat, ingnition coils, even instrument cluster tack.
(not to get into too much on this thread, but trying to trouble shoot a missing probem and dont know what to do other than replace parts)

Knife to the heart! RaceTech is my competition so you won't find me using their parts on my shocks. That shock has DMr BD Series valving and a Hypercoils spring - just an FYI.

Sorry, I just can't help myself...
