A few details to answer posts/PMs:
The exhaust is a just a slip-on set up.
I can't remember who made the lower fairing - bought it used on Ebay in 2003.
The bike is comfortable for long rides as set up. The ergos are nearly identical to a stock 2002+ VFR (I rode them back to back and was actually surprised at the similarity). The pic I posted is from a 600 mile day that was 90% secondary road. This bike was my traveling bike and really only used for that purpose. However, comfort for touring is a very subjective topic so my experience could certainly be different.
