Hello, was wondering if anyone has tried racing 905 cages? http://www.racing905.com/armor.html.

Or if anyone has seen these scoops? http://honda-rc51.de/Superhawk%20Scoops.htm

There's a guy (MRGRN) on the Superhawk/RC51 Speedzilla forums who makes that sort of thing, and anything else you're willing to request/pay for. http://www.carbonpartz.net/

Have you actually made purchases through them? I'm curious, 'cause I ordered a Corbin seat once directly off their web site; they called me to tell me that their distributor didn't have them any more, but they could order me one from Corbin for the retail price ($50 more than their site advertised). Seemed a little smarmy to me... I just looked, and that same Corbin is still up on their site. I think it's very bad business to advertise products and then fail to deliver on the quoted prices. To put it politely.

Sorry - not trying to threadjack, but I thought it might be good to point out the questionable suppliers too, and I just don't trust this particular outfit...

Yes I have. I ordered EBC rotors and pads from them without problems. Even though I live in California and had to pay sales tax to this outfit it was the cheapest price I could find.

I also just ordered some JT sprockets and an RK chain from them. Again for cheaper than I could find anywhere else even with having to pay state tax.

I agree that your experience sounds like they have bad business practices. I had no idea. I'll update this thread once the order comes to let you all know how it goes.

UPDATE: Parts arrived as described. They have been a good source for me so far.

Thumbs up Cheap Shipping for >$400 OEM parts orders

$3.99 Flat Rate Shipping for OEM Honda parts orders over $100 from www.hondapowersportsparts.com

I just ordered about $450 worth of parts from these guys and saved a few $ due to the cheap shipping they offer for orders over $100.

It's not worth it to use them till you hit the $400 mark on the order though. As Honda-partsDirect.com and ronAyers.com were cheaper for parts, but shipping for an order over $400 made their total prices more expensive.

Someone posted ....Stainless Fastener Kit
http://www.desmoparts.com/honda/superhawk/vtr1000.htm

Not a bad kit, but you probably could do it cheaper by going to Ace Hardware or a fastener company. This site still shows my old Yamaha FJ 1200 with the kit installed. Haven't had that bike for awhile now.
