Hey guys i am making a move from Ft lauderdale/Miami to Richmond Va. I want to know if anyone is in the area. let me know. I will be here in August just in time for the last bit of the summer riding.

Put on the right peg holder, peg & brake pedal last night. Had to take off the swing arm pivot bolt to do it. Wasn't as big a deal as i expected. I put wood under the engine to support the bike & used a couple jackstands to support the swingarm.

Got replacement forks coming from Loco on this forum (in Texas).

Got the cast off this morning. Dr. says it needs another couple weeks for the arm/wrist to finish healing. Will definitely need some PT to get the wrist to bend back & forth. Dr. doesn't want me to ride for another month.

Sorry, I totally missed this post.....got the bike back together huh? That's cool. I've been commuting as much as I can on mine. Are you planning on hitting any more track days this year?

We need to catch up for a ride sometime.

I guess pat must be busy moving still?

I'm off this weekend Fri. thru Sunday. I'll be doing a longer ride at least one day & a shorter ride at least one day, too. I'll post what I'm doing. May ride w/ a couple of guys from Lynchburg one day. Again, I'll let you know.

Hey Sean,
You missed a good one yesterday. Rode over the Buena Vista & hooked up w/ a buddy there. Even the 2 1/2 hour ride over there wasnt bad.

Rode the Blue Ridge Parkway for a ways.

Also, ran into a couple of interesting riders.

Where do you guys suggest to ride. I am right now just riding the roads by my house and occasionally back and forth to work.

glad you made it to the area. There are plenty of roads around to ride, just need to get away from the city a bit. Route 5 to williamsburg is decent, Rt 33 west of town is ok. most any roads out towards the mountains are good........ I am sure there are plenty of other roads around I can't think of off the top of my head.
