View Full Version : Superhawk jacket? mikecronis 01-25-2008, 01:16 PM I guess Joe Rocket is making Superhawk jackets now? drew_c14 01-25-2008, 01:58 PM They have been for a while. But I think it's just a name, not related to the bike at all. I could be wrong though... Death Cattle 01-25-2008, 02:38 PM well, it does say honda on it, but you never know. im not sure if its for the bike or not, but i do know that its damn expensive midijunky 01-25-2008, 03:45 PM they've been making these for a couple years now, not 100% sure if it's named after our babies tho. it's a slick looking jacket regardless, and if I can settle back into the physical shape I was in prior to my knee injury I'm getting one. I like the stealth look it has. It's branded gear, yes, but it's not so flashy and in your face like the other branded gear I've seen. kmm996 01-25-2008, 05:00 PM I just bought one. It's a really nice jacket. Not to gawdy like alot of jackets. It does have 4 Honda patches on it. Including a reflective one across the back. It includes all the armor and back pads. Nice quality. But no reference to the bike though. blupleous 01-25-2008, 07:51 PM here is link http://www.joerocket.com/productH.cfm?products_id=1688 it would be nice if there were more colors available and yeah something model specific mikecronis 01-25-2008, 08:12 PM It's hard to tell, but I think it says "Superhawk" on one arm side. Is this correct? kmm996 01-26-2008, 06:35 AM No. It says High Flow Ventilation Technology (or a variation of..) on the left sleeve. I though of having a SuperHawk patch made and put on it though... rnb 01-31-2008, 09:24 AM i got one for christmas. i would like it to say superhawk on it somewhere like my sons cbr jacket. it is really nice though. i think the sizing is toward the small side. i got a 46 and it was too small. exchanged it for a 50 and it fits perfect. i'm 6'1" &195. rnb 02-03-2008, 12:37 PM went for a short ride today. wore my new jacket, it was like 40 degrees. it is the warmest jacket ive worn. no air gets thru it at all. i would definetly recommend it. ridegear.com sells them for 325-340.00 darylward 02-08-2008, 04:58 AM Any one seen these on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.com/HONDA-VTR-1000-VTR1000F-FIRESTORM-JACKET-XL_W0QQitemZ220198840744QQihZ012QQcategoryZ57988QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I would like one but with superhawk on it. Yeah , I have seen those . I wonder how cheaply it is made ? I still wouldnt mind having one if its somewhat decent. If anyone buys one , give us a review . darylward 03-05-2008, 10:31 AM I contacted the seller on these and they are going to see if they can get these with Superhawk on them instead of the firestorm. Aramis 03-12-2009, 06:01 PM I just got my Joe Rocket Superhawk jacket. I needed something warm to ride in and the IRS was good to me this year. Has anyone sewn on a Superhawk patch on one of these? I got mine at Newenough for $318. HondaJim 03-12-2009, 06:11 PM That's a good looking jacket. madurodave 04-22-2009, 07:12 AM Look like a nice jacket! |
