I am a Teacher from Wisconsin, and will not be able to make the group trip to NC, as I imagine that some are not able to make it. My friendshave been planning a trip for a five day period between the dates of june 16-24, but we only have four people right now. We will be traveling in our trusty stead, a '94 66 passenger bus that is getting converted to hauler and living quarters. We are looking for anywhere from 2-4 extra people, as we will have a lot of room in the bus and want to cut down on trip cost. It should cost a total of $675 in fuel for the bus ( figured at an operating cost of $.45 a mile) this means that travel would be about 100 big ones a person. We would be staying at a campground, so cost should be minimal in that aspect. If anyone is interested, let me know fast so we can get the plan together.

half hour north of milwaukee. We can do pick up for anyone on the way, or within a relatively short distance off our path.

that's excellent that you're headed south, but the week you plan on being here is the same time the Honda Hoot is going. There will be a sea of goldwings going from the Overlook to the CROT. If you want to get a good ride in do it before 11 a.m. then head over to some of the other roads.

My past experience with boating tells me that before 10-11, 12-1, and 6-dark are the best times to be out. I alreay knew about the Goldwings, but we had our plans so we are keeping the week we chose.

When are SH riders going to tail of the dragon? I'm riding there with some friends in August from Omaha. 1000 mile ride............

ill go down there in Aug, just keep me posted on the dates....i cant make it to this weekends ride since my bike is still in the shop. Keep the Moderators posted, we can set it up once again.
